This collection consists of records created and produced by the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) offices in Marin and Napa Counties. The records document the breadth of UCCE Marin-Napa’s programming and research in agriculture, environmental monitoring, community outreach, youth development, and gardening education for the counties. These records reflect both internal program activities and collaborative efforts with state and federal agencies. These documents provide insight into local climate conditions and soil classifications relevant to regional agriculture, especially viticulture and orchard management. Research data found within the collection focus on viticulture-related studies addressing Pierce’s Disease and the Glassy-Winged Sharpshooter (GWSS).
