Scope and Contents
This series consists of agricultural publications, research reports, and newsletters created or collected by the University of California Cooperative Extension, Merced County. Subject includes pamphlets, trial notes, oil testing records, and economic reports. Several files pertain to notable projects such as the Cork Oak Project (1940), performance testing of candidate tree varieties in Merced County, and historical data on crop diseases and pest outbreaks. Name varieties of the Newsletter are Fruit Notes, Tree, Tree Fruit and Nuts and Tree and Vine Notes, and Vine Notes. This series is arranged into two subseries. First is Cooperative Extension Publican. Second is Newsletter.
