Scope and Contents
This subseries consists of records related to Hmong outreach and instruction intended for Hmong residents and instructors. Materials for Hmong residents include handouts on nutrition, meal planning, recipes, housekeeping, breastfeeding, and infant nutrition. The handouts are in a mix of only English, Hmong, and simplified Hmong. A portion of the records are Hmong translations of 4-H handouts and publications. Materials for instructors consist of lesson plans and handouts on Hmong nutrition and food habits. A small portion of the records contain membership and participation information.

Conditions Governing Access
This collection is open for research. A portion of the records have been digitized and are freely available online. Series 1 through 7 are located at UC Merced Library, Series 8 through 14 are located at the Merced Cooperative Extension Office. For help locating material please contact archive@ucmerced.edu.
Access to files containing information on University personnel matters is restricted for fifty years from the latest date of the materials in those files.
