Scope and Contents
This series consists of film negatives by George Ballis. The negative primary comes in 35 millimeters, although medium and large format negatives are found intercuts within the series. This series is arranged to mirror the arrangement created in “Contact Sheet, 1957-1980”. Some of the subjects depicted in the photographs include, but are not limited to, Grape Strike, March to Sacramento, AWOC & NFWA, US Senate Hearing, and El Teatro Campesino. An item level index is available upon request.

Conditions Governing Access
Collection open for research. Digital files are available in the Archives & Special Collections reading room. Some files may require reformatting before they can be accessed. Technical limitations may hinder the Library's ability to provide access to some digital files. Access to digital files on original carriers is prohibited; users must request to view access copies.
