Series Description:

This series consists of contact sheets produced by George Ballis. A contact sheet is a method of printing all frames from a given film roll on a single photographic paper. This allows the photographer to review all pictures taken from the roll at once to allow them to evaluate with one they want to enlarge. Ballis arranged the contact sheets arranged by subject matter by George Ballis. Some of the topics depicted in the photographs include, but are not limited to, Grape Strike, March to Sacramento, AWOC & NFWA, US Senate Hearing, and El Teatro Campesino. An item level index is available upon request.
