Scope and Contents
This subseries consists of photographs produced by the Humbolt County office. Photographs subjects include but not limited to Forestry research is represented through tree planting projects, pine plantation studies, reforestation, and special forest product development; livestock-related materials document wool growers’ association picnics, sheep shelters, tooth decay in sheep grazing orchards, Angora goats, lamb carcass contests, and progeny calf tests. Additional records highlight pasture management, range studies, watershed projects, staff meetings, workshops, and community programs, along with files on FFA and 4-H livestock shows, agricultural history.
