Scope and Contents
This series consists of textual records maintained by Daniel S. Munk, the Cotton Farm Advisor for the University California Cooperative Extension in Fresno County. These records pertain to cotton plants, agricultural water usage, and irrigation systems. Examples of topics that are covered in these files are cotton cultivation, nutrients, fertilization, and the quality and management of irrigation systems, soil, and water. The types of materials found in this series include but are not limited to reports, newsletters, articles, pamphlets, photographic slides, and manuscripts. These are the historical files from the past cotton advisors. The bulk of the records were created between 1949-1997. These files are arranged in alphabetical order by folder titles.
