Scope and Contents
This series consists of trial reports, reports of work, quarterly reports, publications, articles, data, and newspaper clippings related to the work of Merced County Farm and 4-H Advisors. This series mostly consists of material related to poultry and diary sciences, including beef cattle, animal science livestock production, cross breeding, fertilization, breeding, testing, waste disposal, milk quality, hay, pastures, pesticides, trees, Fred Price’s farm work, cattle hereditary, cattle pregnancies, animal physiology, feed analysis, beef nutrition, byproduct feeds, central valley water quality rules, dry manure, rice straw burning, center for food animal health stakeholders workshop meeting, agriculture, dairy and beef council, water and air quality, metal proteinates, pollution, livestock, drainage, and Animal Confinement Ordinance Revision.

This collection is open for research. A portion of the records have been digitized and are freely available online. Series 1 through 7 are located at UC Merced Library, Series 8 through 14 are located at the Merced Cooperative Extension Office. For help locating material please contact library@ucmerced.edu.
