Scope and Contents

This subseries consists of photographs and slides. The photographs depict boys and girls club activities, 4-H camp, agricultural trials, agricultural yields, disease and pest damage, farm equipment and techniques, and livestock. The slides contain information on: orange production factory, the 4-H club, food preservation, Africanized honey bees, plant insects, meetings, and changes in agriculture. There are also a set of photographs of county directors and extension employees that feature accompanying career information.

This collection is open for research.

A portion of the records have been digitized and are freely available online. The majority of materials in this collection are stored at the University of California's Southern Regional Library Facility (SRLF).

Series 5-Photographs and Audiovisual Material are located on site at the UC Merced Library.
